Frequently asked questions
Which fiscal-wedge benefits are included?
The model includes the tax-exempt employment bonus for employment income up to €20,000 and the additional deduction for income above €20,000 and up to €40,000.
How are regional surtaxes calculated?
Lombardy and Campania regional surtaxes use progressive bands. Lazio follows its special 2026 rule: 1.73% through €28,000, then the statutory bands and a €60 relief for income from €28,001 to €30,000.
Why can I select a city?
Municipal surtaxes differ by municipality. Milan, Rome and Naples use the latest municipal resolutions listed by the Ministry of Economy and Finance; no new 2026 resolution for these three cities was listed when checked.
Is this an official payslip?
No. This is a simplified estimate. INPS rates vary by sector and worker category, and the model excludes the trattamento integrativo, dependants, part-year work and some personal deductions.
